Update on Buildoffsite’s involvement in sector events – June 2019

As part of the continued growth of the offsite sector, the Buildoffsite team and governing forum are delighted to represent our members at a range of sector events, workshops and discussions to enable and drive the continued use of offsite techniques and modern methods of construction.

During June, we had the pleasure of taking part in the below;

• CITB, world class skills & productivity for offsite construction; we are part of the advisory group for the project which aims to improve the capability and capacity of the construction industry’s training network
• CLC Demand Working Group; with a work stream to develop a compelling proposition for housing clients to increase demand for smart construction and provide volume surety to enable greater investment in industrialisation.
• National Housing Federation, Building Better; which brings together housing associations committed to changing the way we deliver new homes – and developing a realistic approach to doing this.
