This guide illustrates the benefits of combining Design for Manufacture and Offsite Construction in the context of long-term, large-scale bridge and viaduct projects. It explores how these innovative approaches work together to provide benefits at every stage throughout the infrastructure’s lifetime, in terms of cost, time and fit, which benefit every stakeholder, from funder to the construction team, local population and the people who use, monitor and maintain the bridges and viaducts.
