Incredible Husk: Transforming waste into sustainable construction materials

CIRIA and BOS, as members of the Agricycle Nexus Consortium, recently attended the Incredible Husk Realisation event. This event showcased the transformation of waste into construction materials using the Wilson System and non-synthetic binders. The process converts bio food waste, plastic bottles, cardboard, paper, and metal bits into biofuel and Wilson fibre, offering a green solution for the construction industry. This initiative aims to decarbonise the built environment, reduce carbon emissions, and promote sustainability. It aligns with regulatory changes and offers economic benefits, making it a vital approach for a sustainable and resilient built environment.
