COVID-19 Industry Response Update

We would like to thank all organisations from across the construction sector who have shown great interest in supporting our response to COVID-19 crisis on behalf of the industry. We’re working towards establishing a clearer picture of national and regional demand for additional ward space, isolation units etc. as required, with the aim of supporting the NHS trusts and Government in delivering the additional healthcare units. In order to do this, we need to provide them with an accurate reflection of the current capacity & capability in the offsite manufacturing supply chain which is naturally well positioned to react to, and deliver any requirement. Our team are working to collate and categorise all of the information we have received and a member team will be in touch this week to run though specific questions regarding capacity and production timelines.

Buildoffsite are in direct contact with leading industry figures and government departments, with the aim of establishing the true need nationally and regionally, aggregating the demand across the sector and highlighting any potential pinch points in supply chain caused by the shut down with regards to equipment that needs instant attention from the Government.
