Heathrow will maintain the highest standards of safety and security and will further improve efficiency. Investment in the new Terminal 2 and other enhancements will continue to drive tangible improvements for Heathrow’s passengers in Q6 and beyond. Our investment plan includes substantial asset replacement, the closure of Terminal 1, widened taxiways to cater for larger aircraft and a range of smaller commercial, operational and environmental projects.

Passenger experience and punctuality have consistently improved through Q5. Heathrow’s performance during London 2012 demonstrates that we enter Q6 better placed, with passenger satisfaction near the top of the league table of European hub airports.
