Jennifer Higgins, Managing Director of The Wee House Group presented with their BOPAS certificate by Mark Farmer, MMC Champion, at the BOPAS Forum Held on the 14th September
Connect Modular, part of The Wee House Group, supplies affordable modular homes to housing association and housing developers across the UK. The diversity of modular build means that design opportunities are limitless and with modules being 90% complete on arrival at site, fully fitted with kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing and electrics, it also helps reduce carbon footprint. We are currently working alongside Riverside Scotland to deliver Scotland’s largest affordable modular housing development to date. The development is located at Kilmarnock Road, Dundonald and will see 63 affordable homes completed, with a blend of house types, including one bedroom flats, three bedroom houses and two bedroom amenity bungalows.
BOPAS Process
“We’re delighted to be part of the BOPAS scheme, especially as more developers and public sector housing providers are recognising the benefits of modular construction to deliver affordable, high-quality houses, produced in a timely manner. Being BOPAS accredited gives our clients assurances over the quality and durability of our modular builds. Working towards accreditation helped us to develop our in-house procedures to better suit long-term growth. The support from the assessment teams throughout has been invaluable.” Jennifer Higgins
