UK Government to grant £1.2bn for modular solutions delivery

£1.2bn new business opportunities for all members and non-members of Buildoffsite to deliver modular solutions to the UK Government

Up to £1.2 billion has been granted by the government to cover the contract published on 21st November. Suppliers will be able to benefit from the contracts start date of 6th March 2019 which is due to last until 5th March 2023.

Crown Commercial Service is developing a new framework for the provision of Modular Building Solutions. This will be utilised by central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and devolved administrations. It is intended that this commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all Modular and Portable Buildings required by UK public sector bodies, which include Central Government Departments and their Arm’s Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies, Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education, Charities and Devolved Administrations.
